Stade de France is a superb example of modern French architecture and really is a magnificent theatre for sporting events. Access to the stadium is very easy by Metro or by RER non-stop trains: from Gare du Nord, the trains operate every few minutes and it is just a ten minute direct journey to Stade de France. Whilst there are not many bars around the ground, there are plenty around Gare du Nord which is a lively place to gather for the pre-match build up and post match celebrations.
