The Twenty Ten Course at the Celtic Manor Resort opened in July 2007, is the first course in Ryder Cup History purposely designed and built for golf?s most prestigious team event. The par 71 measuring 7493 yards was designed to provide a supreme challenge to the worlds best golfers in match play conditions.
It offers classic match dilemmas with opportunities for long hitters to chance their arm over the water or take a safety first approach.
There are nine new holes developed along the floor of the beautiful Usk Valley and nine remodelled holes form the former Wentwood Hills Championship course.
Importantly they were all shaped with the spectator in mind with better viewing vantage points than in any previous Ryder Cup Match.
This means the lucky golfing galleries will get a unique close-up on a tournament now regarded as one of the worlds biggest sporting events, as Europe look to avenge their defeat by the Americas at Valhalla in 2008.

The inaugural Polo In The Park thrilled over 25,000 spectators and introduced television audiences to a new format in high-octane polo competition. The 2011 tournament promises to deliver all the excitement, action and drama with a unique theatre for incredible hospitality in the centre of London.
Eight teams each representing global cities will play over the 3 days of the tournament which will culminate with the Final and the presentation of The World Polo Series™ Trophy.
In a similar way to how Twenty20 is changing Cricket - the World Polo Series™ rules have updated Polo to make the sport faster and more exciting for TV and event spectators.
